Registrations are mostly at the third level beneath .co.ls and .org.ls, though some other names exist mostly for use by the government of Lesotho or the national university

Trademarks are assigned through the Ministry of Law and Constitutional Affairs. Lesotho is a member of the Madrid Protocol. A trademark is valid for 10 years and may be renewed for further periods of 10 years each.
