Domains can only be registered in the name of a person running a one-man business or executing a profession, a partnership or a corporation, an association, a legal entity or an institution which is registered in Aruba.

Trademarks are assigned by the Bureau of Intellectual Property. Aruba is not a party of the Madrid Protocol. A trademark is valid for 10 years and is renewable indefinitely every 10 year period. If the applicant is established outside Aruba, they must choose domicile in Aruba at the office of a recognized trademark agent.
